Mother Nature Wore Silver Today

I woke to a silver world, overcast skies, the grass and trees were dressed in overcoats of ice. This morning my little world danced with shades of sparkling gray.  By noon the sun peeked between the clouds and light turned the silver to gold's and blues, but this morning all was shining silver.  Winter's last style show.

You make it sound beautiful, but I certainly hope it's the end of it!

What a lovely entry - wonderful images! It's beginning  to get really warm now, here in UK. But, I'm always slow to shed those extra layers of clothing.

If I woke up and saw a day like that I'd just roll over and go back to bed.  Some of us are poets.  The rest of us can only read their poetry.  Mrs. L

Thank you for all the nice comments!  LOL!  In reality -- that morning, I was out in the field spraying thousands of gallons of poop in a nice even application, then working it into the soil.  The above entry is the result of wanting to put an entry in my journal without actually mentioning my activities.  The ice was there, the day was silver, the view was as described as long as I looked up. :-)  Joy is highly developed selective vision!
