Turkey Buzzards

I haven't gone fishing or 'round the bend.  Turkey Buzzards were hanging around in the field but that is what they do in summer.  I have been working out of town the last week or so, back soon!

In the olden days, we just called them - shitehawks! Anything big with wings that flapped, that is. But Turkey Buzzards sounds much better! Hurry back soon.

Glad your gonna be back soon ....missed ya ....giggling at davids comment about the "shitehawks" in glasgow this term is used in almost an endearing way to describe anyone who is annoying the life out of ya .
Case in point " gonny stop flicking the back of ma heid ya wee shitehawk you " occasionally heard uttered on the bus or at the cinema hehehe
Those turkey buzzards are big ole dudes arent they ? Wouldnt wanna get on the receiving end of those beaks x

Brings back memories of my childhood at grandma's.  Turkey buzzards eating roadkill.  Mmmm, delish.

Turkey Buzzards, nature's little garbage scows.  They can throw-up at will yanno!  One of thier defense mechanisims.  Effective one I imagine, half digested, half rotted entirely squished racoon would make me leave the area too.  :-)
